My family and I have been going to Pollos Mario in Hempstead ever since they opened. Every time we go there, we feel at home. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. The food is always delicious. If you like seafood, definitely try the cazuela de marisco. If you want a true Colombian dish try the bandeja típica. Highly recommend eating at Pollos Mario!

Redeemed! Pleasantly enjoyed the baked fish filete with fries and tostones. Fish was delicious with a capital D! My fellow guests ate grilled chicken, chicken tenders and steak. All delicious. Our dishes came with salad to start. They provided my toddler with a small plate of salad which was nice. The passion fruit mojito was tasty! The restaurant is massive with large and small tables. Well maintained. Parking in the rear. Happy dining!

This was and is the best Pollos Mario to me!! My family and frequent the one located on Woodhaven Blvd and while that is delicious this one really tops it for me. Not only is it larger in size, with a slight upper porch dining area, the food was just a tad better here. I kept to my usual Bandeja De Mario which never disappoints but here the taste of the meats from the char of the flat pans just did it for me. I told my husband this will be our new Pollo Mario spot going forward. Service was good, ferried my and attentive but the food was definitely a star!

Love that this place has its own parking lot. Super friendly service. Can never go wrong with the typical. Will be coming back for sure.
